1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of Arexam Couriers services provided by Arexam Limited (Company Number: 14851488), registered at St Peters House, Silverwell Street, Bolton, BL1 1PP ("we", "us", "our").
By booking a collection or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking.
2. Services
We provide same day courier services, including but not limited to:
- Same day collection and delivery
- Next day delivery services
- Multi-drop deliveries
- Pallet and freight transportation
- Specialist vehicle services
3. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations provided are valid for 24 hours from the time of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate. Final pricing may vary based on actual distance, waiting time, or additional services required.
4. Booking and Cancellation
Bookings are confirmed once accepted by our team. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before scheduled collection may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.
5. Liability and Insurance
All goods are transported under the terms of the Road Haulage Association Conditions of Carriage. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to £1,000 per consignment unless additional insurance has been arranged and confirmed in writing.
We are not liable for any consequential loss, loss of profit, or indirect damages arising from delay or non-delivery of goods.
6. Prohibited Items
We reserve the right to refuse carriage of:
- Illegal or prohibited substances
- Hazardous materials (unless by prior arrangement)
- Live animals
- Currency, precious metals, or jewellery exceeding £1,000 in value
- Human remains or body parts
- Firearms or weapons
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of delivery unless credit terms have been agreed in writing. We accept payment by credit/debit card, bank transfer, or cash. Outstanding balances may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
8. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 / UK GDPR. Please see our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Complaints
Any complaints regarding our service should be made in writing within 7 days of the relevant delivery. Please email complaints to info@arexam.co.uk or call 03300 437267.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
